About Street Video Reviewer

Street Video Reviewer exists to expose, analyse and challenge the growing culture of abusive, manipulative and exploitative vlogging on social media.

In recent years a number of so-called “auditors”, pranksters and confrontation-based content creators have built audiences by provoking members of the public, targeting workers, harassing security staff, disrupting businesses and generating online content through manufactured conflict. While these creators often present themselves as campaigners for accountability and civil liberties, their behaviour frequently raises serious questions about ethics, responsibility, public nuisance, privacy, harassment and the impact of online vigilantism.

Through detailed commentary, investigative reporting and legal analysis, Street Video Reviewer examines this content critically and places it in its proper context. The aim is not to silence legitimate criticism or lawful journalism, but to distinguish genuine accountability from conduct that exploits, intimidates or misleads people for online attention and financial gain.

What We Do

Video Commentary

We analyse and review auditor and public-confrontation content, identifying misleading claims, questionable tactics and factual inaccuracies.

Legal Analysis

We examine the legal issues arising from auditor encounters, including public access, photography, trespass, privacy, harassment, public order, data protection and related areas of law.

Research and Documentation

We collect, preserve and organise information relating to individuals, groups, incidents and recurring tactics within the auditing community.

Public Education

We provide accessible explanations of the law, practical guidance and background information to help viewers understand what is really happening behind the camera.

More Than A YouTube Channel

The Street Video Reviewer website is the next stage in the project.

While the YouTube channel focuses primarily on video commentary, this website is being developed into a permanent research and campaign hub dedicated to documenting harmful online conduct, supporting those affected by it and promoting greater accountability within the social media landscape.

As the project develops, the site will include:

  • News and investigations
  • Legal resources
  • Research archives
  • Case studies
  • Incident reporting
  • Campaign information
  • Community participation opportunities

Channel Mission

Our mission is simple:

To challenge abusive online behaviour, expose deceptive narratives, support accountability, and defend the public interest through evidence-based reporting, critical analysis and informed discussion.
